The Journey
From the chaos of Kathmandu, we fly into the mountains and spend the next eleven days running through the heart of the Khumbu.
We'll move between Sherpa villages, climb high above the valleys, and cross two of the Himalaya's great passes as we journey beneath Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse and Cho Oyu. There'll be bakery stops in Tengboche, endless cups of masala chai, quiet mornings watching the mountains change colour, and long days on trails that seem to disappear into the sky.
Designed for acclimatisation as much as adventure, the route builds gradually before taking us over Kongma La and Cho La into the turquoise lakes of Gokyo — one of the most spectacular corners of the Himalayas (or Earth).
We'll spend our nights in traditional teahouses, sharing stories around the table before heading back onto the trail the next morning.
The journey finishes where it began, with a final run back to Lukla and a flight to Kathmandu, carrying tired legs, a camera full of photos, and memories that tend to linger long after the trip is over.
